Manage your health and wellbeing

NHS North East London GP and practice staff bulletin: 19 January 2024
People in north east London that have a health condition that puts them at the highest risk may be eligible for Covid-19 treatments. It’s important that these treatments are provided as quickly as possible to be effective. Patients can find out more by visiting our website: https://northeastlondon.icb.nhs.uk/your-health/coronavirus-covid-19/

We have developed a website in NEL to help people to manage their own health and wellbeing by providing useful information and links to local and national resources.  It is aimed at people waiting for hospital treatment to support them while they are waiting, help them to manage their condition and stay healthy whilst they wait.

Patient Call-back Facility

From Monday 22/1/2024, we will be having a new feature – ‘Patient callback facility’ added to our phone system. This option will be presented to a patient waiting in the queue when they contact the surgery. The patient will be able to choose to receive a callback from the receptionist instead of waiting on the phone when their request reaches the top of the queue.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition as our staff adapt to this new feature.

Thank you for your co-operation.
