The doctors and staff at North Street Medical Care in Romford, are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including postnatal care, childhood vaccinations and NHS Health Checks
The practice is aware of current issues regarding telephone access at North Street Medical Care. The issue is with our telecoms provider Premier Choice who are working to to rectify the problem. This will mean a significant improvement over the coming weeks. Unfortunately despite our administrative staff and clinicians working very hard, the phone system is causing significant issues.

Appointment System Upgrade
Our new telephone and appointment system will mean when you call the surgery, reception will book you into GP telephone appointment, face-to-face appointment, nurses appointment or a message taken for any administrative tasks.
For a doctor's appointment:
1. You phone or attend the surgery to book a telephone or face-to-face appointment as needed.
2. The clinician calls you back for a telephone appointment – in the same morning or afternoon session
3. You are always seen if needed – and will be offered an appointment to a time to suit you
4. For face-to-face appointments:
- You can book routine appointments a few weeks in advance when you feel its not urgent or you need to fit work schedules and days off.
- You can book daily appointments with clinicians directly by telephone or in person
- Finally we aim to provide a daily reserve of urgent access appointments for new issues like infections, pain or unwell children.
Vision online services
www.myvisiononline.co.uk has been replaced with www.patientservices.co.uk. At North Street Medical Care patients can book appointments online, order your current repeat prescriptions and view your own medical record online. If you are interested in using this service, please click here
Patient services is faster, easy to use and works perfectly on smartphones, tablets as well as your computer. You will be able to view your medication history and allergies as well as ordering prescriptions and booking/cancelling appointments as previously

North Street is proud to announce it has been chosen as the site for Havering's new GP access HUB for urgent out-of-hours evening and weekend appointments - click here for further details.
Access to these appointments is via NHS 111 or directly via 020 3770 1888, for those patients registered with a GP practice in Havering only. There will be no walk-in service
